Biography:
Henri Bargas is a French sculptor born in Paris and active in the 1920s / 1930s.
H. Bargas collaborated with E. Jacques RUHLMANN, with E. Marcel Sandoz at the Jardin des Plantes, for the study of animals and with other Parisian artists around 1925. In the 1930s, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris.
His sculptures are essentially inspired by classical Greek art and by the works of EA Boudelle; Heracles Archer, Ulysses, female nudes….
