"Email From Limoges "
We present this rather exceptional piece of framed Limoges enamel, perfectly intact in its quadrilobed form and depicting Jesus before his crucifixion. He is surrounded by four figures, including two Roman centurions. The frame of this beautiful enamel is made of two materials, the central part in bronze and the outer part in oak, from the 19th century. (E25)
