made of Kuri (chestnut) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood. Original finish with Urushi paint and hand-forged iron fittings.
Locking plates with outer round bronze frames and 3 different keys to lock the different drawers.
The handles are in the Warabite style.
Six drawers and a hinged security door that conceals 3 additional drawers.
106 cm wide, 42 cm deep and 90 cm high.
Furniture from the Meiji period (1880-1890), signs of wear consistent with age.
