Crafted in the spirit of the Louis XV period, this French Cane Corbeille bed exudes a timeless elegance and sophistication. It features intricate carvings that highlight the natural beauty of its wood construction, finished in a warm brown tone that adds a touch of rustic charm to any bedroom. The piece is a testament to the skilled craftsmanship of 20th-century furniture making, proudly originating from France. The bed frame is designed to accommodate a full-sized mattress, although it does not come with one. Assembly is required, and additional parts are necessary to complete the piece. Notable for its rectangular shape and dimensions of 190 cm in length, 140 cm in width, and 120 cm in headboard height, this bed will provide a stately centrepiece to your sleeping quarters. Note that the mattress and slat base are to be sourced separately.

The Cane is great condition.

The wood frame has evidence of previous furniture beetle that has been treated and restored.

Fittingshave been replaced and reinforced in more recent times.

It should be noted that these works are antique or vintage and as such may be expected to show some signs of age, use and wear, please take this into consideration prior to purchase.

Shipping

Our main Depot is located in Montpellier in the South of France. The majority of our stock will be shipped from this location.

For small Items weighing less than 20kg and girth 180cm(W+Hx2), this is around 50x30x40cm box.

Delivery 7-14 days dependant on your location.

You may be subject to customs charges for your package which will be payable on the delivery of your item. Please contact our dedicated team for more information before your purchase.



Bulky items to UK and EU

These items will be shipped with our own transport partners who operate in-between UK-France-Spain. We aim to send these items in 2-4 weeks. We can ship to other EU countries, however the delivery times will be vary.

Bulky Items - Overseas Shipping

We will need your full address to obtain a true shipping cost from our freight forwarding partners.

When all cost have been agreed we will organise packaging, and crating if required.

The shipment will then be delivered to our Freight forwarding partners in the UK, and booked on to the next sailing.

Sailings can take between 2-4 weeks depending on your destination.


If you do not have a customs broker to organise customs taxes (you may be liable for taxes on your purchase) and paperwork, our shipping partners can assist with this.

These overseas deliveries can take between 4-8 weeks.

Insurance

For any shipments where you have paid an extra insurance fee, in the unfortunate event of any damage in transit. All damages must be reported to the end destination courier and us straight away in order that we can start the claims process.

Returns

In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase please contact us within 3 days of receipt of your purchase to arrange return and refund.

Returns should be in the original package as received

Items must be returned in their "as sold" condition.

The purchaser should communicate with the relevant shipping company that it is a return shipment, and cover all costs.
