"Art Deco Bar Cabinet, With System, In Mahogany."
Closed, this rolling piece of furniture looks like a cube with four 'sheath' feet acting as 'uprights'. The top opens in the middle with two flaps onto a tray that can hold 12 glasses and 4 carafes, in 'cells'. The two flaps are then supported horizontally by 4 gilt bronze compasses. When closed together, they automatically return to their place, gently retracting the tray and glassware into the body of the piece of furniture. Very good quality for this Art Deco piece of furniture from the 1950s.
