Object description :

"Early 19th Century Inlaid Clock With Bronzes"
Splendid walnut wood clock, finely carved and enriched with fruit wood inlays featuring plant motifs. These details give further elegance to the clock, visible both on the front and on the sides. The sophisticated design, with harmonious shapes, is further embellished with lost-wax cast bronze inserts, gilded for a touch of luxury. The dial is characterized by Roman and Arabic numerals, offering a versatile reading of the time. In addition, the clock is equipped with a spiral chime that marks the hours and half hours, with weekly winding. The mechanism features the stamp and signature of the craftsman "Vincent", which attests to the French origin of this fine manufacture. French manufacture from the early 19th century.
