The pair of tables was made around the fifties of the twentieth century. The structure is in wrought iron with the four legs connected at the top and bottom by transoms and square joints that reflect the design of the feet. The top, rectangular in shape, is in lacquered wood in faux marble. The decoration simulates a floor in clerks of the finest marble and semi-precious stone samples, or different colors, in a style characteristic of the Roman area. The tables, very decorative, are characterized by the particular versatility of use. They can be placed in any furnishing context, exhibited in pairs or individually. They can also be placed side by side, becoming a single surface. If you put the long side in contact, it forms a table with an almost quadrangular appearance, suitable for the center of a room, in front of the sofas. Approaching instead the short sides, you create a long support surface, perfect if approached for example to a wall, behind a sofa or in places where you need a narrow and elongated support surface. The trompe l'oeil faux marble lacquered top gives more lightness to the tables, making them easier to handle and therefore also movable according to the need. For their use, it is advisable to equip them with a glass top to protect the lacquering of the top.
