It features a tall molded cornice above three glazed doors trimmed in ebonized wood, which enclose five solid adjustable shelves with black-trimmed edges, divided by elegant ebonized curved moldings. The base of the bookcase includes three additional glazed doors with ebonised trim and adjustable solid shelves, all remaining on a molded plinth base with ebonised feet. The sides of the bookcase are accented with curved ebonized moldings, enhancing its overall design. With great color and patina, France, circa 1860. The locks are in working order and come with original keys.
