"Pig With Double Bass – Vienna Bronze, Late 19th / Early 20th Century – Bergmann Workshop "
Adorable and unusual musician pig, standing, concentrated, bow in paw and double bass pressed against the side. This small bronze from Vienna, from the Bergmann workshop (amphora stamp "B"), perfectly illustrates the mischievous and refined spirit of Viennese production from the end of the 19th century.
The polychrome patina, applied cold, is original and nicely preserved with some natural wear, evidence of its age.
