Important vase in cognac-tinted glass, hand-blown and signed by Claude Morin in Dieulefit in the 1970s. Claude Morin (1932-2021) is a master glassmaker from Dieulefit who founded his workshop "Le Pontil" in 1970 at a time when this type of workshop was practically non-existent. He was a pioneer in the revival of French glassmaking and from his first national and then international exhibitions he achieved great success. Some of his pieces were exhibited at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. A retrospective exhibition of his work took place in 2018.
