Collection of 8 semi-precious hard stone intaglios from the 19th century, standing out against a background simulating green porphyry marble, in an oval blackened wooden frame from the Napoleon III period. Beautiful refined object typical of the souvenirs of the Grand Tour, an aristocratic educational journey across Europe taken by young men from the highest classes of European society from the 17th to the 19th century. Ideal to complete a 19th century neoclassical decoration with one of those small details that create an authentic atmosphere. In very good condition, composed of old elements, the whole works very well and naturally. Dimensions of the frame 19 cm by 16 cm Height of a size approximately 2 cm.
