Original lock with 1 key and 4-digit combination system.
Dating from the 1930s–1940s. It comes with 2 sets of keys for opening the doors.
Features stunning lockplates decorated with fire-breathing dragons.
In the 1930s, particularly within the Art Deco style, dragons were commonly used as symbols of power, protection, and mystery—perfectly fitting for a safe.
The locking system works perfectly.
However, the combination mechanism is no longer functional (the dials spin freely with no effect).
Inside: central compartment with a removable shelf, plus an additional internal locking box with a separate door and extra key.
Condition: Excellent preserved condition.
Fully checked and professionally repainted in a vivid red by a car body specialist a few years ago. The result is stunning.
(Subtle shades of pink and orange are visible within the red finish.)
Only minor cosmetic flaw: a tiny chip in the paint on the lower left side (see final photo).
