"Pair Of Swedish Officer's Epaulettes "
Pair of Swedish officer's epaulettes, 19th century. The epaulettes are made of yellow and blue fabrics decorated with three stars corresponding to the rank of Captain. The strapping is made of silver metal. Three beautiful stylized brass letters topped with the King's crown make up the epaulette. The three letters SDR correspond to the Skanska Dragoon Regiment, a regiment of distinguished riders who distinguished themselves alongside Marshal Bernadotte, who became King of Sweden in 1818. The epaulette is topped with a brass button engraved with the Swedish coat of arms, with three crowns. A very beautiful object testifying to the influence of the Napoleonic Empire in Sweden. The rarity of this object should be noted.
