a violin-shaped design and its console decorated with polychrome
flowers on a brass background.
It is adorned with rich Rocaille bronze
ornamentation, combining symmetry and asymmetry, exuding an elegant
dynamism in perfect balance.
The white enamel dial is composed of
twelve enameled cartouches on a brass background with a central "sun
king" decoration and foliate arabesques.
It indicates the hours in Roman
numerals with two hands, one of which is fleur-de-lis.
The movement strikes the hours and
half-hours and has been fully overhauled.
