"A Mahogany Low Console. "
A low mahogany console table resting on a carved 'console' base at the front, and a 'flat column' base at the back, joined by a fretted shelf also in mahogany. Its original 'white veined' Carrara marble has several filled holes, suggesting that it was once topped with a large mirror that has now disappeared. It dates from the mid-19th century, around 1850-1860.
