"Miniature "portrait Of Louis-charles Of France "louis XVII", Signed, 20th Century"
Painted miniature, representing Louis-Charles of France, better known as Louis XVII "born in Versailles on March 27, 1785 and died in Paris on June 8, 1795, is the second son of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette. Titled Duke of Normandy at birth, he became Dauphin of France in 1789 upon the death of his elder brother, then Prince Royal under the terms of the Constitution of 1791 to 1792." Beautifully framed in a bronze medallion frame, painting signed "HIL", miniature painter of the second half of the 20th century. Size at sight 6.5 cm in diameter, frame 14 cm in diameter and total height 26.5 cm
