Charming oil on canvas from the 1960s, depicting a young woman in front of the sea. She is wearing a wide-brimmed white hat and a parasol, as well as a white dress. A child, also wearing a white hat, is visible from behind next to her.
Both are sitting in front of a table topped with a bouquet, some distance from a tree. The light plays on the figures and the tablecloth covering the table. In the background, we see an absolutely calm azure sea.

The work is signed C. Austin lower left. It is in excellent condition, offered in a pretty stuccoed wooden frame in the old style, also in very good condition.
