"Empire Clock With Geographical Attributes In Gilt Bronze "
Superb and elegant Empire clock in gilt bronze. It rests on 4 round feet decorated with a finely chiseled decoration topped with a rectangular base decorated with a frieze of heart stripes and a library decoration. This gilt bronze terminal clock is topped with the attributes of geography and geometry, with a globe, books, set square ETC.... The finely chiseled dial is surrounded by a frieze of roses and flowers, signed "Bonjour à Tours". The wire movement in very good condition has been revised and maintained by a watchmaker. Quality work in excellent condition decorated with very fine chiseling. A similar model can be found in Pierre Kjellberg "la pendule Française" page 371.
