"Pair Of "amphora" Vases In Marble And Gilded Bronze, Late 19th Century"
Pair of amphora vases in the taste of Antiquity in white veined red marble, gilt bronze mount from the late 19th century. The handles chiseled with foliage and water flowers are decorated with finely chiseled masks of young women in the Antiquity style. The baluster-shaped vases are decorated with leafy escutcheons and topped with a marble lid topped with a pine cone and water flowers in gilt bronze. They end with a pedestal chiseled with foliage resting on a richly chiseled square base placed on four small feet. Original gilding in very good condition cleaned by our workshop. Quality work from the last quarter of the 19th century.
