II° Empire, percussion pistol with bottom-ejecting bayonet, XIX°. Substantial pistol of 40 cm with percussion case and caliber 18 mm at the muzzle. Case bearing engraving of scrolls and foliage with the hallmarks of LIEGE "ELG starred in oval (1811 - 1893) and of the inspector of LIEGE "V crowned" (1811 - 1877). Octagonal barrel with forced ball and bayonet ejected by recoil of the trigger guard of type "CLOU", positioned under the barrel and locked by the trigger guard. A powerful spring projects the bayonet forward (see photos). Fluted wooden stock with palmette decoration. Trigger under oval and mobile trigger guard. Single action mechanism with safety catch in perfect working order. Bayonet release mechanism in perfect working order.
