This object was used by shepherds and field workers, day laborers, etc. There were several sizes, the number of which varies depending on the production center, from 4 to 6. The shapes of these dinner carriers vary, they are truncated in Burgundy, pomiform in Ile-de-France, flared in Anjou... the fasteners of the handles, depending on the region, feature cherub heads, rosettes, fleurons, human masks, etc.
