This service was created especially for the arrival of Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of her first state visit to France in April 1957. It is composed of 10 coffee cups and saucers and 4 mocha cups and saucers. Beautiful gold decoration on a slightly cream background of birds and flowering branches. Each piece bears the mark of "L. Bernardaud & Cie - Limoges - Service executed for the reception of HM Queen Elisabeth on the occasion of her visit to France, April 1957" 1 shock inside a cup but which does not go through.
