Wood carving of a man in armour, worked in the round, with some particularly well-executed details: flancarts decorated with trimmings, breastplate decorated with rocaille-style scrolls, helmet with plume. Condition: remains of gilding, missing the end of an arm and restored base. Compare with the production of Ferdinand Tietz and his workshop, with the sculpture of Europe, around 1765-68, Mainfrankisches Museum in Wurzburg.
