Léon Julien Deschamps (1860–1929) Commemorative bronze plaque depicting, in profile and from behind, the bust of a young woman, her head turned to the right. On the reverse, a crowned shield, surrounded by bunches of grapes and laurel stems, underlined by a ribbon engraved with the inscription: “No one leaves Surenne, who often does not return there”. Bronze, France, circa 1900 – Art Nouveau style. Dimensions: Length: 42 mm Height: 42 mm Thickness: 4 mm Weight: 43.5 g Very good condition, in its original case.
