The service includes a fish server, an ice cream server with silver-gilt ends, and a salad server with silver-gilt ends.
The spatulas are asymmetrical pear-shaped, decorated with wide, curved channels. This highly graphic decoration, seemingly simple yet with a real sense of movement, is extraordinarily modern for its time. We are dating from the late 19th century, but this design could very well be considered Art Deco.
The fish server is openwork and engraved with foliage and floral scrolls.
