"Set Of Four Shell Salt Cellars And Their Silver-plated Spoons "
In a very nicely stylized scallop shell shape, here are four individual salt cellars for the table with small spoons in the same spirit. In silver metal resting on ball feet, I think that the interior of these shells was in vermeil but that time and salinity ended up erasing the gilding. There is no mark or indication, we can however trust the custom-made box which is perfectly in the English style of the 19th century. Dimensions of the salt cellars 5.7 x 5.7 cm
