Luxurious Louis XV style barometer thermometer, work from the second half of the 19th century in black lacquered wood with rich gilt bronze ornamentation, in the style of the works of Jean Joseph de Saint Germain. The frame is made of resinous wood, it is lacquered in black, the finely chiseled and gilded bronzes are mounted invisibly with through threads. The thermometer works, the barometer part no longer works, the lacquer is in good condition with a beautiful shine highlighting the bronze ornamentation which is complete, without missing or broken, these bronzes benefit from a very beautiful original mercury gilding which is still in very good condition.
