Born in Marseille in 1860, Reynaud was one of the most gifted student of the city's Schoo of Fine Arts. Awarded in 1879 at à Marseille exhibitions,he moved to Algeria two years later,becoming one of the most successful painters in views of the beauty of the coast and the Algerian ports.
The use of light in his paintings is admirable,it lets you imagine the perception of the warm and welcoming south.
His paintings are preserved in theGeneral Gouvernement and in the Chamber of Commerce in Algiers and in various French cities and Museums.
