"Covered Vase Under Glass With Chinoiserie Decor"
Important vase fixed under glass with chromographed paper decoration of characters, floral, plant and animal motifs in the Chinese style. The central motif, in a cartouche, represents a mother and her child in a garden. The rotating decoration reveals a warrior drinking tea in a lush garden, in front of a woman and children. Despite numerous losses and detachments, our vase is a remarkable model due to its size and its decoration. Visible crack on the back.
