"Ponte Aemilius In Rome By Bernard Wolff "
Aemilius Bridge or Rotto Bridge painted on a thin poplar panel on the motif at the end of the 19th century or at the beginning of the 20th century by Bernard Wolff (1860-1949). The painting is signed lower left and bears on the reverse the location as well as a dedication and is framed in a cream lacquered and gilded wood and stucco frame from the beginning of the 20th century. Bernard Wolff exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris regularly at the end of the 19th century, as a student of Jules Lefebvre and Gustave Boulanger.
