"Mirror With Garden Attributes, Louis XVI Period"
Mirror in a beautiful frame with an openwork pediment, in gilded, molded and carved wood, decorated with garden attributes including a large hat, ears of wheat, a scythe, whips, surrounded by volutes of acanthus leaves and foliage, the frame decorated with friezes of pearls and heart-shaped rays, flanked by small falling bouquets of flowers in the upper part and foliage and scraper in the lower part (old mercury mirror and very probably original, good general condition of the gilding with some losses inherent to the age of the piece, small restorations and small accidents).
