"Pierre Laurel Bronze Titled Dancer With A Tambourine, Early 20th Century"
Bronze with a dark green patina depicting a nude woman in motion, holding a tambourine in her right hand. The dynamic balance of the composition highlights the play of curves and tensions of the female body, in the characteristic spirit of Art Deco. The Pierre Laurel signature is engraved directly on the bronze. The work is mounted on a black veined marble base, in perfect condition, as is the sculpture itself.
