"19th Century Sword Cane "
Louis XV style silver pommel sword cane, the shaft of which is a malacca rush, and the ferrule is metal. The owner in the 19th century used this cane, in a hurry, as a puzzle, forgetting that silver is soft, so he dented one side of the pommel. A goldsmith can correct this small defect which is also part of the life of this object. The blade is made of Toledo steel, a sign of quality. It is in excellent condition. The mechanism for locking the cane by rotating is functional and does its job well. The pommel, nicely chiseled in the taste of the 18th century, is hallmarked (title and master goldsmith).
