"Small Bronze Pot, Barrel-shaped, Crafted By A Young Craftsman. 19th Century. Germany? "
Charming pouring pot, in the shape of a barrel. On the side opposite the handle, a young boy armed with a mallet is working the wooden slats constituting the circumference of this barrel. He is dressed in the old-fashioned style, wearing a large beret, short pants, and stockings. He is wearing shoes in the style of the 17th/18th century. He is smiling, even mischievous.... The body of the barrel was perhaps a pyrogen. Hinged lid, very pointed. Original object, of German or Flemish origin. Perfect condition.
