"Almost Nude Model - Plaster"
Nearly nude black model, on tiptoe, body stretched upwards – Plaster.Plaster sculpture representing a slender, stylized and partially fragmented male body. Without arms, it highlights the muscularity of the torso, the slenderness of the legs and the dynamic posture of the model. The subject stands with his feet slightly crossed, his arms once raised, frozen in a surge of elevation or ecstasy. The entire body seems to stretch towards the sky, expressing dramatic tension. A simple loincloth suggests the nudity of the model.
The plaster has visible casting seams, evidence of its manufacture. It could be a workshop plaster.
The surface bears old marks of humidity.
