Henri Bargas

Henri Bargas is a famous French sculptor , active in the 1920s-1930s .

Animal and academic sculptor , his works are characterized by an expressive touch and precision of detail .
H. Bargas , regularly goes to the Botanical Gardens of Paris , to study and observe animals .
He trains and collaborates with E. Jacques RUHLMANN and Marcel Sandoz.
In the 1930s , he exhibited at the Salon of French Artists in Paris .

His sculptures are essentially inspired by classical Greek art and by the work of EA Boudelle .
