Even if it's barely legible, it's still a page of history. This is always the main promise of an apostolic bull! Benedict XIV, the sovereign pontiff, was born in 1675 and died in Rome in 1758.
This writing therefore dates from the end of his pontificate.
Our bull on vellum is in poor condition.
It measures 70 cm by 46 cm.
