Talwar Saber - North India, 17th-18th century Blade of high quality. Very interesting because it was forged with a hybrid Damascus technique. The steel used is crucible steel (true Damascus, called wootz in India) but which was forged using a "wrought" or "mechanical" Damascus technique (a superposition of several layers of steel). The circular pommel has play. Length 82cm Blade length 70cm Weight 784gr
