Son of architect Augusto Innocenti , Camillo graduated from the Academy of fine arts in Rome en 1887. Around 1889-90 he came into contact with Domenico Morelli and Antonio Mancini. Enthusiastif about the use of lumpy color , spread with spatulas, of the two southern artists , he linked his youthful works to the style of the two painters.
After numerous trips abroad for study(Germany, the Netherlands, England, but above all Spain and Paris where he stayed for two years) , upon returning to Italy he joined the Group of-the XXVof the Roman Countryside, and created landscapes with scenes of peasant life.
Simce 1909 , paintings of popular subjects are rated and the iconography of the elegant and worldly woman's prevails in is works , which becomes the characterizing theme of Innocenti.
His Works are exhibited in museums in various Italian cities ( National gallery of Modern Art in Rome, Civic Art Gallery in Ascoli Piceno, Modern Art Gallery of Palermo, Piacenza, Cagliari ecc..)
