This is probably a workshop version of Sacchi's composition kept in the Capitoline Museums in Rome, perhaps itself produced in collaboration with one of his workshop students Luigi Garzi (1638-1721) (see “Luigi Garzi. Pittore Romano. 1638 -1721”, nuova luce sull'artista barocco nel libro curato da G. Serafinelli e F. Grisolia, Roma, 2020, About Art Online, consulted on 16/04/2025). Possible provenance: former collection of Anthyme Saint-Paul (1843-1911).
