Beautiful work by the Avignon painter Victor Crumière which represents a village perched in the Vaucluse. It could be a view of the village of La Roque-Alric taken from the Barroux road.
Victor Crumière took classes from Charles Vionnet and Jules Flour at the Avignon School of Fine Arts at a very young age. He will paint his Provence with passion, landscapes and still lifes full of light, with clear colors and simplified lines. He exhibited from 1920 to 1950 in Avignon, in Paris from 1927 to 1931 at the Salon des Artistes Français and in Nîmes from 1928 to 1948.
Dimensions: 38 x 46 cm without frame and 50 x 57.5 cm with its modern wooden frame.
