Supporting piece of furniture with fixed sleepers opening with 1 door, blackened wood and rich Boulle style marquetry with brass threads & almost full marquetry on the front. Gilt bronze ornaments, mahogany interior with 2 shelves, white marble on the top. Signed on the lock from the prestigious address of Charles Guillaume DIEHL 19 rue Michel de Conte in PARIS, best cabinetmaker of the time with complex marquetry for a wealthy clientele, medalist in 1855.
