"Castral Wedding Chest, Normandy 16th Century "
Wedding castral chest, Normandy, late 16th century. This richly carved oak chest with pilaster decoration, the central cartouche panel of which depicts the sacrifice of Isaac, this low relief representation highlights the characters. In its original old condition, the chest is complete, lock and its period key as well as its interior box, some small restorations to be noted, the rave feet and a small heel on a rear foot and some small missing parts. In good condition, a healthy and solid piece of furniture which will delight a lover of the high period looking for sincere and very natural furniture. Beautiful size 159X65 height 91.
