1 printed 24 In-4 Year 2 [1793-1794] "Paris, Imprimerie nationale exécutif du Louvre, Year II of the Republic". B on Printed 24 pages of the Constitution of Year 1: it consists of a declaration of the rights of man and of the citizen supplementing and replacing that of 1789 and a constitutional act relating to the organization of public powers. "Constitutional act preceded by the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, presented to the French People by the National Convention, June 24, 1793, the second year of the Republic, recorded in the registers of the department of Meurthe, the following July 11". The Declaration of the Rights of Man occupies 6 pp. 1/2, and the constitutional act 17 pp. 1/2. This Constitution of the year 1, drawn up by the Montagnard Convention on 6 Messidor (June 24, 1793), - and promulgated on August 4, was ultimately never applied, the Convention having decreed, on October 10, 1793, that the government would be revolutionary until peace. The condition of this historical document is excellent, no tears, folds or missing parts. Note only a slight trace of humidity. In my research I cannot find any trace of this document "recorded in the registers of the department of Meurthe" and printed in Nancy by the National printing house of H. HAENER.
