Of a rare finesse of weaving, Shirvan kilim from Persia. Woven wool on wool in the traditional way. Extremely fine weaving, regular, precise, refined. The piece is light as a cloud, thin as a sheet of cigarette paper and supple as a gymnast! Very pretty natural and vegetable dyes in a soft and harmonious polychromy around primary colors in particular. It is a treat for the eye, we are in an emotional universe linked to childhood, in a simple composition oriented on successive horizontal lines composed of geometric patterns in the repetition.
