"A Pair Of Cloisonné Vases Attributed To Hayashi Kodenji"

A pair of vases decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamels on a dark blue background, worked in silver and gold wire, attributed to Hayashi Kodenji. The hexagonal body depicts sparrows in flight and perched on bamboo branches. The base and upper neck are adorned with double bands decorated with clovers and continuous symmetrical scrolls.
The work is published in the volume “Selection 2024.”
