Beautiful Louis XVI style pedestal table in speckled mahogany, surrounded by a gilt bronze gallery and adorned with blue Turquin marble. It opens with a deep drawer in the belt. The sheathed legs are decorated with chiseled and gilded bronze joined by a spacer in blue Turquin marble, they are equipped with bronze casters. The frame is in oak and bears under the top the stamp of E DURAND, cabinetmaker born in 1839 who trained with Beurdeley and Dasson.
