Each crystal part is decorated with scrolls engraved in silver.
The clock is composed of numerous gilt bronze decorations; putis stealing honey from a hive at the base, birds above the dial and others landing on a flower planter above the clock.
Enamel dial signed Prosper Roussel in Paris.
The 4-arm candlesticks topped with a flame are also in crystal trimmed with silver and encircled in a gilt bronze decoration in the form of scrolls of flowers and two angels seating one the sides.
Their base is in white marble. Napoleon III period.

Prosper Roussel, established at 26 place Vendôme in Paris, carried out his activity as a dealer in clocks and decorative objects in the second half of the 19th century, before giving way to Boucheron.
Note that the crystal part at the back has been cut from a triangle part. (Visible on the photo of the back, it is not an accident in view of the cut but an intentional cut).
