Magnificent wash drawing by Floris Jespers. One of the most important Flemish expressionists and avant-garde figures from Antwerp. Created in 1944, this work was exhibited twice, during the 1966 retrospective in Antwerp and in 1981 in Merksem. See labels on the back. This is a wash on paper mounted on panel. 68 x 142 cm, 80 x 154 cm with the frame. Masterpiece!!!
