Each image has a title and a full description on the back. The University of Chicago Library, which has an extensive collection of "Stereograph Cards," owns this series without a "Card," as does the Library of Congress. Truman Ward Ingersoll, 1862 - 1922, a prominent photographer, is known for the stereographs he published in the United States and elsewhere. In the early 20th century, he also produced halftone lithographic views. His company was called the Ingersoll View Company. Link on our website
